TEC Apprentices make finals of Building Plymouth’s Apprentice of the Year Awards

Four of TEC’s apprentices recently made the finals of Building Plymouth’s Apprentice of the Year Awards. Taking place during National Apprenticeship Week, TEC team members, Rowan, Lewis, Tyler and David were presented with their certificates during a special award ceremony.

Supported by their TEC team mates, including Operations Director, Martin, all of our apprentices are fantastic examples of the importance in supporting future construction talent. For us, it has been brilliant to watch them continue to develop their personal and professional skills, while learning from skilled industry professionals.

Commenting on his apprenticeship, three-time award finalist and TEC apprentice, Lewis, said: “Nothing compares to learning the skills of a trade on a live construction site, and the team has made me feel so welcome! I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day and it’s an amazing feeling to be recognised.”

We work in close partnership with training organisations and education providers to help ensure all of our apprentices reach their full potential, while also offering them opportunities to develop their skills on a variety of exciting construction projects across the region.
