The TEC team recently attended Plymouth’s City College Careers Fair, where they had the opportunity to discuss careers in the construction industry. Operations Director, Martin, and L3 Carpentry Apprentice, Lewis, both met with attendees and discussed their own experiences in the industry, while sharing information on how to kickstart a construction career.
Hoping to encourage the next generation of construction talent, Lewis did a fantastic job explaining his role and apprenticeship to young people attending the event, both with enthusiasm and passion.
As the third most popular sector for young people to seek employment in, Martin and Lewis both did brilliantly, with their knowledge and insight helping to inspire future construction professionals.
