TEC’s Martin Lee hosts Working Well Together Event

TEC’s Health & Safety Director, Martin, recently led another Working Well Together event, which focused on the subject of refurbishment within the construction industry.

Attended by over 80 construction professionals, the event focused on sharing insight in relation to managing the risks associated with refurbishments. Topics included dust control, managing asbestos, low level working at height, safe working around gas flues, and manual handling/lifting.

Five industry speakers took to the stage alongside Martin, including representatives from UKATA, the national asbestos training body, Health & Safety Executive, Speedy Services, RVT Group and Pristine Condition Ltd.

As a non-profit, industry led construction safety initiative started by HSE and the main Construction Industry Advisory Committee (CONIAC), WWT aims to educate and improve health and safety knowledge across the sector, while also promoting training and learning through the provision of free events.

With more events scheduled to take place later this year, stay tuned for updates.
